Abbott Hydroquinone Cream USP—commonly sold as Melalite Forte 4%—is a prescription-strength topical treatment for dark spots and uneven pigmentation. Its active ingredient, hydroquinone 4%, gradually reduces melanin production, helping improve the appearance of melasma, freckles, age spots, and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.

Apply a thin layer only to affected areas, usually once or twice daily as directed by a qualified healthcare professional. Use broad-spectrum sunscreen every morning, because sunlight can worsen pigmentation and reduce treatment results.
